60% Clairette and 40% Roussanne
This white Chateauneuf has a wonderful interplay of creamy richness with ripe peachy fruit and orange blossom freshness. Also a note of fresh almond. Everything fits so beautifully on the precisely balanced mouthfilling palate. Long silky apricot finish with discrete underlying tannins. A cuvee based on clairette with roussanne. From organically grown grapes. Matured in glass balloons to conserve freshness. Drink or hold.

The classic white here is always worth checking out, and the 2021 Châteauneuf Du Pape Blanc shines on all accounts. Honeyed white flowers, stone fruits, orange blossom, and a touch of spice all emerge on the nose, and it's medium to full-bodied, has a pure, elegant mouthfeel, and a great finish. It has the vintage's fresher, pure style yet doesn't lack for fruit or texture.
