The 2022 Puligny-Montrachet Champgains 1er Cru has a crisp, mineral-driven bouquet, taut and focused, demonstrating more complexity than the "Composition Parcellaire". The palate is well balanced with finely tuned acidity, nicely integrated oak and just a hint of chamomile toward the finish. This is a very promising Puligny that should age well in bottle. Tasted at 2022 Burgundy tastings in London. Drinking window: 2026 - 2040

to look alike the vintage characteristic of generosity, even sunniness of fruit, yet with a fresh
enough structure to keep the balance, and no sensation of heat. Fine, with a particularly long
