The 2021 Chardonnay Cuvée Tan Fruit comes from Dijon vines in the Maresh Vineyard, planted on a south-facing slope in 1991, plus a number of other sources around Willamette Valley. Bottled a few months earlier than the other Tan Fruit Chardonnays, its savory aromas explode from the glass: a core of peachy fruit is streaked with touches of candle smoke, matchstick, pie crust and floral tones. Medium-bodied, seamless and satiny, it flows effortlessly through the mouth with both depth of flavor and freshness. It has a pleasing touch of grip to anchor the long finish and feels like it has more to give as it unwinds in bottle over the next several years. Around 1,000 cases were made.

A hint of flint and gunpowder with waxed lemon, oyster shell, mango and salted green apples. Quite a textured, saline expression of chardonnay with tangy flavors and a mineral drive. Full-bodied and reductive with phenolic support. Savory, saline and mouthwatering finish. Love the austerity here. Drink or hold.

100% Chardonnay
White Beaujolais Blanc is a bit of a rarity as only 2% of Beaujolais production is White. We do not see too many but they can be delicious wines when you get a good one. We found a great one! It is crisp and fresh with flavors of pears, melons, apricots. It is unoaked showing off the minerality and ripe fruits and a touch of nuttiness. It pairs well with goat cheese, fish, and even desserts with fresh fruit.

South African Chardonnay
A lily of the valley perfume opens to present ripe fruit flavours of cantaloupe melon, lemon zest, tangerine, and a touch of dried papaya. The palate has a gentle fruit character, so easy-drinking, with attractive notes of white peach, yellow cherry, and chamomile.
Rated 96/100 Decanter Magazine
As with previous vintages, the wine shows an elegant minerality with lime-citrus, sourdough and cinnamon flavors. The wine keeps a wonderfully tight grip on the palate, showing good aging potential. A floral note of wild, white flowers and almond blossom is obvious on the front of the nose and follows through the palate -- importer
"There are some distinct similarities to the flavors found in cooler Burgundian sites – perhaps most similar to a fine Meursault. " - Winemaker
