Starlight Distillery Description
Napa Cabernet Barrel Finished Bourbon Whiskey is a rare, limited release crafted from grain grown on Starlight's historic 700+ acre farm, established in 1843. This very small batch bourbon is a six-year blend of signature three and four grain mash bills, meticulously double pot distilled in a Vendome copper pot still using a sweet mash process.
First Barrel: Heavy Toasted Fire-charred, new American white oak barrels
Second Barrel: first fill Silenus Reserve Oak Knoll Napa Cabernet Sauvignon Barrel
Secondary Aging: 1 year, 2 months
Notes of oak, red orchard fruits and vanilla up front. Creamy rich tannins on the mouth feel followed by a sweet baking spice finish that compliments this elegant whiskey.
