At the tenth annual Canadian Whisky Awards, Pike Creek 21 Years Old Oloroso Cask Finish earned top honors. The brand’s Master Blender Dr. Don Livermore walked away with a Blender of the Year award.
Pike Creek 21 Year Old Oloroso Cask Finish was also awarded Best Blended Whisky and Connoisseur Whisky of the Year, Domestic.

"To be recognized as the Distillery of the Year is a tremendous accolade. From grain to glass, there is a dedicated and passionate team behind our whiskies," says Dr. Livermore. "We all rely on each other to make sound choices, and it reflects in the quality award-winning brands that we make. With each limited-edition release, Dr. Livermore pours mature Pike Creek whisky into a new exotic barrel. This year, it was Oloroso sherry, imparting tones of red fruit and toasted cereal, and giving the whisky a deep blush hue.
The spirit is distilled at Hiram Walker Distillery in Windsor, Ontario, and aged in the nearby town of Pike Creek. The distillery itself took home the Distillery of the Year award for the third year in a row.
