We started with a specially blended batch of our Mashbuild Bourbon and we added 100% Kona coffee beans directly to the barrel to finish the whiskey. We tasted along the way and extracted our first Kona-finished spirit at the perfect moment, where the coffee flavor was distinct but far from overpowering. The final product is bold, dark, distinctive whiskey with an espresso nose and a very smooth finish
