It blends a Journeyman's and a Nobleton's barrel at barrel proof
Ritual: #5 Discovering Your Art
Age: A blend of 5 and 8+ year whiskey
ABV: 60.9%Total Bottles made: 427
Grains: Corn, Maize, Wheat, Rye, Barley
Tasting Notes:
It needs roughly 10-15 minutes to open up before I truly recommend consuming. No matter what stage of evolution the pour is in taffy, brown sugar and sarsaparilla. But once it initially opens it is so reminiscent of Barbados and Australian style rum, give it a little more time and those rum profiles take a back seat. Enter your friend's apples and mid age range calvados come say hi and after a little longer of a wait it seems like you showed up to a carnival and decided to snack on cotton candy and bubble gum. I simply describe it as spicy, dry and complex.
Blender's Story: Inspired by Scottish independent bottlers and blenders, I set out to create a unique whiskey that honors two exceptional distilleries: Journeyman in Michigan and Nobletons in Missouri. -Steve Nease, Minister of Blending
Origins:
Distilled and aged at Journeyman Distillery, Three Oaks, Michigan
Distilled and Bottled by our friends at Nobleton’s Distilling House
Union, Franklin County Missouri, USA.
