The winemaking process involves careful fermentation and aging, often in oak barrels, which imparts a subtle complexity to the wine. The flavor profile of this Spätburgunder is characterized by vibrant red fruit notes, balanced acidity, and a delicate tannin structure, making it an excellent pairing with dishes such as roasted duck, mushroom risotto, or a selection of soft cheeses.

From loess parcels, the 2021 Pinot Noir TS is from the Tschuppen. The purple-ruby colored wine opens with clear, fresh, well-defined cherry aromas with tart floral notes. Silky, fresh and elegant on the palate, this is a saline, tight and mineral, beautifully refreshing and tart-finishing Pinot Noir with tight but fine tannins and serious mineral acidity. From a remarkable terroir, this is a thirst-quenching Pinot of remarkable character, bone dry but irresistible. 12% stated alcohol. Tasted at the domaine in February 2024.
