What makes Warehouse K special

Warehouse K was built in 1953 and is one of Old Forester's modern heat-cycled rickhouses. Unlike older, naturally ventilated warehouses, it uses controlled heat cycling to encourage the whiskey to move in and out of the oak throughout the winter months.

Master Taster Jackie Zykan has said Warehouse K developed a "cult following among bourbon connoisseurs." In fact,in 2021 Old Forester released their entire second release of their 117 Experimental Series bottling dedicated solely to Warehouse K because of its reputation.

Top Floor: Our barrel was on the the 8th floor which is the top floor and is the hottest and has the most fluctuation.
