Rainwater is a medium dry pale Madeira which combines soft fruit and a dry nutty quality. Serve lightly chilled as an apéritif. Madeira has a long history of use in cuisine where its fine bouquet adds a subtle yet recognisable nuance to sauces; Rainwater often being the preferred wine.
