The appellation of Côte de Brouilly sits on the high slopes of the extinct volcano Mont Brouilly and is surrounded by the larger appellation of Brouilly. Cote de Brouilly is bigger and riper than regular Brouilly.Gorgeous nose of rose petals, violets and a hint of dark roast coffee. On the palate, it has great body with a deep and generous core blueberries and ripe cherries. Drinks very well now but will age 4-8 more years. Very small production.
